The woods at their best

Every October the woods around Fernhollow turn from green to gold to copper in about three weeks, and we run extra trains to make the most of it.

The train stops at Fernhollow for forty minutes so you can walk the short loop through the beeches, with hot apple juice waiting on the platform when you get back.
