Viaduct & Cheese

Over the arches to market day

Our most popular day out. The train crosses Kestrel Viaduct slowly, so everybody gets their photo of the twelve arches, and arrives at Hatherby just as the market is at its busiest.

You have two hours to wander the stalls: the valley’s cheeses, bread, honey and whatever the allotments have grown this week. Your ticket includes a cheese board for two from the Hatherby dairy, packed to take home or to eat on the train back.

What's included

  • A cheese board for two from the market
  • Reserved seats both ways
  • A map of the market and the town
Duration
4 h, with a stop
